In Regular SupplyMultiple varieties of Japanese rice are in regular supply, primarily from Hokkaido — all open for inquiry. We take both small trial orders and regular bulk procurement, with pricing scaled to volume.

Scarce Item · By ProjectGood seeds are hard to come by — sources are scattered and quantities limited, making them far scarcer than rice. We help Taiwan buyers procure seeds from Japan, handling export procedures and phytosanitary requirements. We currently take only varieties free of intellectual property restrictions — those not protected under Japan's Plant Variety Protection and Seed Act. Not sure whether a variety qualifies? Every Shipment, First-Hand
We have deep roots in Japan, and have been exporting Japanese goods to Taiwan since 2022. Every shipment is handled first-hand: export documents and phytosanitary inspection in Japan, international shipping, and import clearance and quarantine in Taiwan. We know the whole route.
Sanponashi works on both sides — Shingihou Co., Ltd. in Fukuoka, Japan, and Lü Sheng Da in Taiwan. Inquiries, tracking, and after-sales all have a direct contact on each side, so you're never guessing across time zones and languages.
And because we're not a big operation, we can be more attentive: fast quotes, real flexibility, and small orders taken seriously. Our clients range from individual buyers and farmers' associations to Michelin one-star and three-star chefs and restaurants.

How to Inquire
Pricing is tiered by volume — small orders get small-order pricing, large orders get large-order pricing. When you write to us, include three things:
- 1.Item — Rice variety, or seed name
- 2.Quantity — Planned volume, or a rough range
- 3.Delivery Location — Where in Taiwan the goods should arrive
We'll confirm sourcing and feasibility, then reply with a quote.
